The second Norcal Agility trial went very well, even though we started an hour late, due to the judge having a flat tire. The trial would not have gone so smoothly without the help from almost EVERYONE who was entered, and a few who were not. If only all the events went like this one! Karen TenEyck our judge ran the ring very well and took great care in making the ring safe for our dogs. The ring was set up on a baseball field, with dirt and grass surface. Karen went out of her way to adjust the course to avoid home plate, the bases and the pitchers mound. The weather was perfect for the late afternoon runs, very cool. It was a little too perfect for some who needed to slow down a little. I would like to say a special thank you to Janet Peacock, Terry Southard and Carole Steding who did not have dogs entered, but gave their time to help for the whole trial. Thank you to Wendy Johnston and the Del Monte KC for working with me to make this trial a success. Thank you to Billy Anderson, Ann Brown, Susan Bates, Nancy Damarodas, Laura Finco, Shelly Johnson, Chris Johnson, Peggy Krewson, Edd Kovac, Dimity Mueller, Dale Root, Eileen Oshiro, Debi Tandoc, and Jan Teichman for pitching in without hesitation when needed (If I forgot someone I apologies) and, last but certainly not least, Ed and Edwina Ryska for without them the trial would not have taken place.
